QUESTIONS?

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
  • Sessions are 60 minutes long and cost £60 GBP. I also offer longer sessions by arrangement at an equivalent hourly rate.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE INITIAL CONSULTATION?

In the first session I explain how I work, and find out a little about your history. It’s also a chance for us to decide if we are a good fit to work together. 

WHAT HAPPENS IN A TYPICAL SESSION?

In a typical session, I will ask you what you want to focus on, and I’ll help you explore any parts that come up around the issue.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

That depends on you. Some people only want a limited number of sessions to work on a specific goal. But generally IFS works better as a medium to long term therapy over a few months or more.

HOW OFTEN WOULD WE MEET?

IFS generally works best if we meet weekly, at least for a while. But if you prefer to meet once every two weeks, I can sometimes offer that flexibility.

IS IT CONFIDENTIAL?

All sessions are confidential and I will not share the content of our sessions with anyone else.

The only time I would need to consider making a disclosure would be if I believed you were at serious risk of harming yourself or another person.
