ABOUT
ME
I want to help you feel better
I’m Phil and I live in South Gloucestershire in the UK. I’m transgender (he/him) and I have two young adult kids, two cats and a dog.
I’m a coach and Internal Family Systems practitioner, and am currently training in psychotherapeutic counselling. Internal Family Systems is my main modality. I integrate IFS with a person-centred approach. I’m also interested in the way that stress and trauma impacts the nervous system, and how this can affect our physical body as well as our mental health.
I am open to working with whatever challenges you are facing as an individual, but I have particular interest and experience in helping LGBTQ+ clients, and people who have medically unexplained chronic symptoms such as pain or fatigue.

WHAT I DO
I’ll support you every step of the way.
I’ll help you explore and befriend your personality traits, emotions, and thinking patterns. Together, we’ll get to know the different parts in your internal system and will gradually release the constraints that are keeping you stuck in emotional and/or physical pain.
I’m trained in the Internal Family Systems model of therapy, and this provides the foundation for the way I work.
