I want to help you feel better
I’m Phil, my pronouns are he/him, and I live near Bristol in the UK.
I’m a coach and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, and am currently training in psychotherapeutic counselling. IFS is my main modality but I use a pluralistic approach, tailoring my work to each individual client. I am also interested in the way that stress and trauma impact the nervous system, and how this can affect our physical body as well as our mental health.
I am open to working with whatever challenges you are facing as an individual, but as a trans and queer person myself, I have particular interest and experience in helping LGBTQ+ clients, and people who have medically unexplained chronic symptoms such as pain or fatigue.
WHAT I DO
I’ll support you every step of the way.
I’ll help you explore and befriend your personality traits, emotions, and thinking patterns. Together, we’ll get to know the different parts in your internal system and will gradually release the constraints that are keeping you stuck in emotional and/or physical pain.
I’m trained in the Internal Family Systems model of therapy, and this provides the foundation for the way I work.
